It’s even possible you know about SufiRock — the fusion of traditional Sufi music with classic rock. iSufiRock brings it all together to you in a unique way, giving you the opportunity to download the latest SufiRock music, view the lyrics of the songs, and learn more about Sufism in a manner that is fun and easy to understand.
iSufiRock offers you only the best pre-selected music to download on your iPod or mp3 player. When iTunes offers videos, we will provide the music in video form also. Any music we make available on iTunes will have a commentary in English to explain what the music is about, as well as an English translation of the vocals.
iSufiRock is also a way for us to bring you advice and knowledge on Sufism in the form of short memos from our team of experts.
What is Sufism?
Sufism is not a religion —sufism is a state of mind— there are Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and Jews who are Sufis. Its mystic tradition which began with Islam, dating back to the birth of Islam in 700 AD. Sufism is the pursuit of spiritual truth as it is gradually revealed to the heart and mind of the Sufi (one who practices Sufism). Sufis strive to come closer to God through mysticism based on divine love. Sufism embodies a number of cultures, philosophies, and central teachings.
